WAR EAGLE! So, many of you know that I grew up in Auburn and went to school at Auburn University. My father still lives there and went out the day after the National Championship win and took pictures of Toomer’s corner and the AUsome amount of toilet paper there! For those of you not familiar with this Auburn tradition, after a win, everyone congregates at the main corner downtown across from Toomer’s Drug Store and TP’s/rolls the giant oak tree there. (as well as any other tree or object we can get toilet paper on.) Usually cheers, chants and songs will spontaneously erupt and the energy is palpable!
I posted my father’s images on Facebook to share and within minutes it was viral! There have been many requests for prints, so I thought I would help Dad out and offer them through my blog. I have always given him credit for my eye for photography and you can see why! 🙂

Beautiful!! I was pleased to find out who took this photo after “sharing” it from someone else’s on Facebook. I’ve gone back and added your name and a link to this site. I hope you get some sales from it!
I’m by no means an Auburn fan, but this is beautiful! I shared it with all my Auburn friends instead. 🙂
If I were an Auburn fan, I’d definitely purchase this print. But I’m not (Roll Tide), so I shared it with all my facebook friends so my Auburn fan friends could see it and buy it. Beautiful!
Awesome photo and well deserved win!
I’m a VOL fan but I have a bunch of AU friends. I’m also a photographer and LOVE this photo. I ordered 2 for gifts. Great job!
I have it as my profile pic on FB and am glad to finally know where it came from! I have included a link in the “tag” of the pic so that people can link back and buy it. Great shot!
I also posted this amazing picture on my FaceBook page. I did not know who to credit but a friend of mine send me your link. I also added the link to my caption under the picture. I hope you get some sales from my adding the link!
WAR EAGLE! An amazing photo that captures Auburn and the entire AU family in one frame. I have shared your link on FB and with all of my Auburn friends. I will be ordering several of these! I hope you can retire from this incredible photograph!
This is so fun! My dad just forwarded me an email about this picture, not aware that his brother in law was the talented photographer!
And this picture is so special. War Eagle!
Love the pics….too bad I moved to Eugene three years ago and am a DUCK fan………….LOL.

We just received this print in 10 x 20 from a cousin as a gift. It is a great photo and you should be very proud of your fathers work. I just told my daughter about it this morning and she has just ordered a print. SO proud of our TIGERS and WAR EAGLE to everyone!!!!
This picture is awesome, I added to my facebook page. War Eagle to all!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this picture for us to buy. I am a die hard Alabama fan but my husband and most of his family are Auburn fans! I had wanted to buy one of these for him before the crazy AL fan poisioned the poor trees. It is a very sad situation that should have never happened. I ordered 2 today, 1 for my husband & 1 for my mother-in-law. Thanks again for sharing & today I will say War Eagle!
Btw, I love your photography & would love to attend a workshop sometime! 🙂

Gorgeous picture! And so sad, given recent events. :My husband is an alum (class of 99) and I wish I had gone there instead of where I did! 😉 I’ll be placing an order soon.
Thanks for sharing — seeing your father’s print was therapeutic for me today. I just ordered the 16×20 standout so I can look at it every day. Thanks and WDE!!
I recieved my Picture in the Mail Saturday and I love it Thanks so much! War Eagle!
