    I am a photographer in the Birmingham, AL area. My style is a blend of traditional and contemporary. Everyone loves a nice portrait, but it is the less guarded, more intimate images that stir our emotions. So, I try to capture both!

    When I am not shooting, I love to spend time with my family, travel, exercise and continue to learn more about photography. (It's a bit of an obsession!)

Merry Christmas from me! :)

Well, as I photographer, I am always happy to have survived another fall/Christmas rush! I am so thankful for all my wonderful clients who keep me busy (in a good way!) this time of year! It’s always so wonderful to get to see everyone and meet new friends! 🙂 I wish you all many, many blessings in 2013, and thank you for a fabulous 2012! Here are some of the images from my Christmas card shoot with my boys…my virtual Christmas card! 🙂 It’s hard to keep coming up with ideas for boys, especially the older they get! Decided to go as “boyish” as I could. 🙂

I always enjoy seeing your handsome young men … who have really made a change since their last session I might add. Love the long hair on your oldest, and the toothless is such a great memory. So, you probably know the fall/Christmas rush is in full swing when I COMPLETELY ignore my blog! Oct and Nov are like April is to accountants. We “just keep swimming!” 🙂 I did want to share at least one of my fun fall sessions. There will be plenty more to follow soon as things wind down. Loved working with and meeting this family! Brittany – Clanton, Alabama Harpist Photography

So something different from me! Brittany contacted me needing professional portraits for her blossoming harpist business. I was super excited when she wanted something different from most harpist promotional pictures. She was all in for going outside and even lugging around a $8000 gorgeous harp into the woods and a field! I had her play for some shots and I had forgotten how absolutely beautiful the harp sounds. If only all my sessions could be accompanied by a harp! 😉

Jade – Anniston Senior Portrait Photographer

You may remember Jade from a couple years ago. She is such a stunner and always up for anything. I guess that’s the drag racer in her. Yes, you read that right! This girl likes to drive fast! 🙂 It was time for her senior portraits and we were able to coordinate a shoot at the beach. She even had her ACT moved to a school at the beach so we could make it work! I couldn’t have asked for a better subject or location!!

Barrett is Four! – Birmingham Alabama Child Photographer

I cannot believe that Barrett is four! I started photographing her when she was a little two year old! She is always such a joy! Full of personality and spunk, not to mention beautiful as well. 🙂 We always have the best time!
