I loved getting to see this crew again! They are such fun and sweet kiddos! I love it when clients want to shoot at a location special to them. In this case, it was the nature trail at their church. 🙂 Such a sweet family!
So, here are three different ideas for color combinations/outfit choices for this summer. Just remember to dress according to the style of photographs you want. For example, if you like fun, candid shots, then a white dress might not be the best choice! But, if you are going for a formal look, then bust out the finer duds. Dress to fit your family’s style. Don’t try and force it, if it isn’t you. The most important thing is that you are comfortable and confident in what you wear so you can focus on having fun with your family!
I still cannot believe that Miss Ava is a year! It feels like just yesterday I was taking her newborn photos! She is just too cute! We wanted to make sure she was toddling for her session and she came through! Her mom Amanda is a friend and talented photographer her in Birmingham. It’s always flattering and nerve wracking at the same time to photograph other photographers. But, I will say that it’s also so much fun and they understand when we have to chase the light. 😉 Love this sweet fam!
Amanda, what a CUTIE PIE Ava is! (of course, I always think that!) So fun to see her getting so big. LOVE the colors of this session – in particular that magenta dress of yours! (and how you perfectly accessoried Ava’s shoes to match!) Her romper? Adorable!

Thank you Audrey! I do use mostly L lenses and I would say the 70-200 2.8 and 50 1.2 are my favs! Best!!!
Meet sweet Avery! I had the joy of photographing her sister since she was a newborn and now she’s a big sister! I just love seeing “my” families grow! Both she and her sister were little angels during the session! Beautiful and sweet girls. 🙂
Meet the adorable Hutchinson kids! They are such sweeties and you can tell how much they love each other! I just love the springtime here in Alabama! Wish it would stay longer!! Enjoy these little monkeys!
