  • Welcome to my blog!

Hi and welcome to my blog! Glad you could stop by! This is where you can see my most recent sessions and posts about my own life, so look around and make yourself at home!

I am a photographer in the Birmingham, AL area. My style is a blend of traditional and contemporary. Everyone loves a nice portrait, but it is the less guarded, more intimate images that stir our emotions. So, I try to capture both!

When I am not shooting, I love to spend time with my family, travel, exercise and continue to learn more about photography. (It's a bit of an obsession!)

Check out my website by clicking on the "portfolio" link. Also, please to leave me some blog love! I would love to hear what you think! Welcome and come back soon!

My Boys + I Love Fall! – Birmingham Alabama child photographer

I realize that I have majorly neglected posting anything personal for a while. If you follow me on Facebook, you will know that I have been doing a 365 project (one photo a day) and so it’s not that I haven’t been taking pics! Just the opposite. I just forget to blog my own stuff! I took the boys to a local nature preserve today to hike and play on the rocks. The weather was absolutely perfect and the scenery stunning. Alabama is just gorgeous this time of year. (Spring is a close second.) Here are my men. They are growing up too fast.

Little Princess – Birmingham Alabama Children’s Photographer

I was so excited to see Miss Barrett again! She is such a fun little girl! We had a location chosen, but when her mother showed me the gorgeous dresses she had chosen for her, I knew this princess needed a castle! We had so much fun exploring and acting like royalty. 🙂

It’s a small world. I found your blog by accident last October when looking for “what to wear” guides for our family pictures. We modeled this blue one almost to the letter and pictures turned out great! I found you again through a high school friend’s FB page (Laine Williams-an photographer from Birmingham) and I LOVE your work all over again. I wish you were closer to Atlanta because it would be such a pleasure to have my family photographed by you. Alas, I will just have to admire your work from afar. You’re very talented and I wish you the best of luck in your career.

Nilaya is one! – Birmingham, Alabama Children’s Photographer

I can’t believe this sweetie pie is one! It seems like just yesterday that I was doing her mommy’s maternity session! Her mom, Tavia, is always up for some fun. She is my fabo hairstylist and we basically spend my time in the chair brainstorming our next session! We did a vintage theme for her six months session and had to come with something new for her one year! We wanted color and FUN! She has grown into such a fun little girl with a big personality. I can’t wait to see her grow into her own little person!
