Now, don’t get me wrong…Miss K and her parents are an absolute delight, but mother nature and everything else was working against us for this session! Here’s how it goes…First session attempt is rained out. Then right before our rescheduled session Miss K gets a busted lip and is bitten twice by schoolmates! (note: all boo-boos were healed by the session.) THEN during our rescheduled session: rain and about 100 kids running around where we are trying to shoot! Soooo, with all that working against us, I was determined to get some shots of this beautiful little girl! I think we pulled it off. Here are a few of my favs.
Well, our little group took a quick beach trip before the rush of the school year. We actually missed the first week, but this is probably the last year I will have that luxury. Gustav blew out of the way in time for us to have three great days. The boys love everything about the beach. We even got a family portrait via tripod. I have been trying to make more of an effort to get myself into photographs. I am always behind the camera and never in front of it! As parents, we are so focused on documenting our kiddos as they change and grow. We forget that one day our kids and grandkids will want to see what WE looked like before we became all wrinkly! Anyway, I digress… here are a few of my favs from the trip…
Here they are! I have created nine Christmas card designs for you to pick from. There are two 4×5.5 inch cards, four 5×7 cards, and three 5×5 cards. The 5x5s are priced the same as the 5x7s. The designs are for flat cards, but if you prefer a folded, I will design the inside for a $20 creative fee. All cards come with envelopes. Please contact me soon, if you want to book a session for Christmas card photos. It will be here before we know it! All Christmas card portrait sessions must be booked by November 21st. The deadline for ordering cards is December 1st.

I had a last minute shoot the other day and boy am I glad! Amy was in town visiting and saw the shots I took for her sister. She wanted to see if we could fit something in before she left town. It all worked out and we got some great shots of her beautiful daughter. I would kill for eyes like hers! Here are some of my favs…
Just thought I would let everyone have a inside glimpse of the glamorous life of a photographer. I mean, I have my own entourage following me around! Really! Granted it is a five-year-old and a almost three-year-old, but they are my biggest fans! Can you say “multi-tasking”?
