  • Welcome to my blog!

Hi and welcome to my blog! Glad you could stop by! This is where you can see my most recent sessions and posts about my own life, so look around and make yourself at home!

I am a photographer in the Birmingham, AL area. My style is a blend of traditional and contemporary. Everyone loves a nice portrait, but it is the less guarded, more intimate images that stir our emotions. So, I try to capture both!

When I am not shooting, I love to spend time with my family, travel, exercise and continue to learn more about photography. (It's a bit of an obsession!)

Check out my website by clicking on the "portfolio" link. Also, please to leave me some blog love! I would love to hear what you think! Welcome and come back soon!

Love is in the air! – Birmingham Alabama Wedding Photographer

It must be that Valentine’s Day is coming up soon…But love is everywhere! Lots of engagement sessions. Some of you may know that I am teaching a wedding and bridal photography class at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Hannah and Rusty were kind enough to be our models for an example e-session for my class participants.  We went all over Morris Ave! Even to the top of Rusty’s Uncle’s apartment building, that had an incredible view! Thank you guys for being our guinea pigs! Here are some of my shots…Can’t wait to see what the class came up with!

As Hannah’s mom, I may be slightly biased, but these are absolutely wonderful.

Great session to start the new blog! -Birmingham Alabama photographer

Well, I no longer have the freebie “blogspot” template. I was so frustrated with the image quality and size, so I broke down and got a new one. I hope you all like it! I had a great e-session with Brandi and Benji down on Morris Ave. They are getting married in March and are just the cutest couple. Some couples I work with are a little shy about cuddling and smooching, but not this pair. You can just feel the love! 🙂 Thanks again guys for braving the cold, we got some great shots.

Smoking hot couple, great job!

Kerri and Jason

What a celebration! This lovely couple were so fun to work with. Kerri and Jason got married at Mountain Chapel United Methodist and had the reception at “IZ, the Place.” A sweet couple with sweet family. Here are some I have picked out of the tons we took on their day. Congrats to you guys!

On a sadder note, the groom’s best friend was killed in Afghanistan a few days before the wedding. I just want to send a prayer out to all our men and women who are serving our country. God be with you all and your families and thank you.
