Here is Miss L! I had taken photographs of her mommy when she was still cooking and here is the final, glorious product! Just a doll baby! I love her “faux-hawk.” Beautiful mommy and beautiful baby. Here are some of my favs.
Is your child America’s Cutest Kid?
I am participating in the National Charity Model Search to select “America’s Cutest Kid” and to raise funds for charity.
We’re looking for cute children ages 18 months to 14 years old to model for a portrait to be entered into the contest.
Models Search Special:
$75 entrance fee, which includes a 30 minute model session and one image submitted to the national gallery.
Finalists will be determined by online votes. Anyone may vote. Each vote is $1, and all proceeds from votes benefit the non-profit Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.
Grand prize national winner will be determined from the 50 city finalists. Winners selected by photography and modeling industry experts.
If your child is selected the national winner, you’ll receive many prizes, including a $5,000 US Savings Bond and a Canon PowerShot G10 digital camera.
If you’re interested in entering your child(ren), please call the studio at 205.655.4670 or 205.447.8723. For more information about the contest, go online to www.sandypucmodels.com.
The last date to enter is March 1st, so book your cutie now!
All I have to say is WAR EAGLE! This is a couple after my own heart. (no offense to my Bama fan clients…) But, being raised in Auburn and going to college there, I have quite a connection to the “Loveliest Village on the Plains.” Erin and Stephen braved the “brisk” (understatement) December weather for photo ops all around Auburn. We even hung out with President Gogue. (well, not exactly “hung out” but we did exchange pleasantries…) I had so much fun with these guys, even if it was a bit on the chilly side. Erin, you are such a trooper!!! Hope you guys had a great honeymoon. It was hard for me to narrow down my favs…
Well, the holidays are officially over now. I can finally catch my breath! I have obviously slacked in the blogging arena, so here is a sampling of some the my most recent sessions. Hope everyone has a wonderful New Year. A huge THANK YOU to all my wonderful clients. It was fantastic meeting and working with you! Blessings to all in 2009!
Ok, so I am not a professor, but I will be teaching a wedding and bridal photography class at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens in January. The newly established Southern Institute of Photography is starting their first session of classes the beginning of next year. There quite a few other classes offered if wedding photography isn’t your thing. The school’s website isn’t quite up yet, but I will post a link to the gardens site with contact information. Check it out!
