Ashley Warren Studios bio picture
  • Welcome to my blog!

Hi and welcome to my blog! Glad you could stop by! This is where you can see my most recent sessions and posts about my own life, so look around and make yourself at home!

I am a photographer in the Birmingham, AL area. My style is a blend of traditional and contemporary. Everyone loves a nice portrait, but it is the less guarded, more intimate images that stir our emotions. So, I try to capture both!

When I am not shooting, I love to spend time with my family, travel, exercise and continue to learn more about photography. (It's a bit of an obsession!)

Check out my website by clicking on the "portfolio" link. Also, please to leave me some blog love! I would love to hear what you think! Welcome and come back soon!

Miss Nilaya – Birmingham Alabama Newborn Photographer

I was waiting patiently (or not so much) for this little one! Mom had wanted something creative and artsy! yay! She is a huge fan of Gustav Klimt, so we decided to incorporate his art into her photos! I wanted to make sure I wasn’t breaking any copyright laws, so I called the US Copyright office and they said any art created before 1923 is public domain! Woo hoo!! Who’s ready to be a Monet? 🙂 Looking forward to experimenting with this method again!

Rusty and Cyndi – Florida Wedding Photographer

Ok, I admit it…I LOVE the beach!!! I just get giddy with the thought of it! When Cyndi and Rusty told me that they were planning a very intimate beach wedding, I was thrilled! I have secretly always wished that I had done the same thing. 🙂 (no regrets! still had a fabulous wedding day!) Anyway…working barefoot is about as good as it gets! Cyndi and Rusty made us feel like a part of the family and even insisted we eat dinner with the whole crew at Bud n’ Alley in Seaside! Yum-O!!! These two are so cute and fun and I always have a great time shooting them. Cyndi was a rockstar and even wanted to get in the water! LOVE IT! I mean, it’s not like she’s gonna wear it again, right? 🙂 Thank you guys for a great day and for making me feel so welcome and comfortable. (and extra points to Rusty, for getting wet and sandy! 🙂 ) I wish you many blessings on your marriage!!!

Fabulous picures:) What a cool sky, and very well done in processing so it shows in the ceremony and family pics. I love the bride’s hair and the groom’s scruffy beard:)

The N Family – Mountain Brook, Alabama Family Photography

Such a cute and sweet family! These two girls are just adorable! We had fun shooting at a gorgeous private home in Mountain Brook, AL. Mom and Dad were winners of one of my gift certificates at the Heart Gallery auction. (a wonderful organization that helps find families for children in the foster care system.) The girl’s grandmother MADE their dresses! I am super impressed!!!

Georgia – Selma, Alabama Newborn Photographer

This sweet angel came to see me a couple of weeks ago. I have know her mother for a very long time. Won’t say how long, but her sister is one of best friends from high school. 😉 Miss Georgia drove over from Selma to see me. (well, she didn’t drive… :-)) I was so glad we were able to get her photographed as a fresh newbie and mom was willing to try something new for me. Enjoy this little beauty!

All in the Family – Birmingham, Alabama Engagement Portraits

There are many reasons that I love what I do, but one of the cool things is getting to know my clients and their families. Last year, I shot a wedding for a client that had found me on the internet. One of the bridesmaids and I chatted a bit during the wedding day. She suggested me to her sister-in-law who was getting married. The family was so kind and welcoming! I then got a call from the Mother of the Bride who wanted to buy a baby plan for the sister-on-law (aka: first bridesmaid) So I shot Ashley and Eric’s newborn just a couple of months ago. (She’s the one with mom and dad) AND after Alana and Mike’s wedding, I booked this great couple! Kaysie is Mike’s sister. Did you get all that? I feel like a part of their family!
