Ok, so I am FINALLY getting around to blogging about the amazing experience that we had at our very first Share…The Workshop! Grethel Van Epps had approached me about co-hosting a workshop for up and coming photographers last spring. I thought it was a great idea to equip these new photogs with information and skills to help them succeed. Some people have even questioned why would I offer my “secrets” to other photographers? I don’t think that running a successful business and having technically sound images can really be considered secrets. I know that we live in an era where becoming a photographer has become very “easy” and popular. I want these new business owners to know what they are getting into, how to do it successfully and deliver amazing products to their clients. We covered as much info as we could cram into a whole day. In addition to covering business info, technical, and workflow, we demonstrated a newborn shoot and on location family and child shoots. Grethel and I had the best time getting to know all these fabulous photogs and loved sharing our passion (obsession) with them. We had such a great response and personal experience that we have decided to offer another workshop in February. You can find details below. We hope you can join us!
