Well, I am not really sure how to begin writing this post. I can honestly say this was the most challenging wedding for me to shoot. How is that possible with such a wonderful bride and groom, fantastic location, awesome wedding party and amazing family??? Well, the day before the wedding, I broke my arm in a bicycle wreck…Um, yeah. Long story short: with the help of a great second Jessica Travis, a rapidly trained assistant (my hubby) and a few pain pills, we were able to deliver! I was so blessed to be shooting such a great couple! I hated to cause them ANY stress, but they were totally calm and collected. Even the weather held out! Sarah has amazing style and I loved seeing and photographing all her hard work. (Oh, and did I mention she is a photography major from UAB? No pressure there! :-)) The wedding party was hilarious and made the day such fun. I wish you guys all the best, and thanks again for putting up with your one-armed photog!
equally stunning groom... (you can say that about a guy, right?) :-)
has to be one of my favs from the day...
getting pumped up for the walk down the aisle :-)
Sarah's grands were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary that same day!
